Convicts Tour Testimonials

"I have just come back from my extended tour of Europe after the Convicts tour of the USA and Canada. Thanks again for the tour, it was an amazing 16 days! Not only did I get to live the dream of playing footy in another country, I saw some great sights as well! Will find it hard to come off the high of the tour! Love to tour again in the future."
Jim Randall (TAS)

"I watched the DVD of the USA tour for the first time last night, it made me realize just how great the experience was. I have got you blokes on my screen saver at work so I reminisce everyday about the good footy times and the great social times that were had by all."

"I went to South Africa as support staff/trainer and had a ball. The touring and wildlife safari's were an amazing experience. The coaching clinics, especially the one in Cape Town was also a unique life changing experience. I can't wait to tour with the Convicts again in the future"
Matt Eddy (VIC)

"I've done a lot of things in life and in football but nothing was more rewarding than what we did in South Africa 07. I can't wait for 2009 so I can do it all over again!"
Deano (QLD)

"If you want to experience the best football high, go on a Convicts tour. The mix of great footy, meeting other like minded footy guys and seeing the world is just incredible."
Kurt Bullock (NSW)

"I thought the Convicts Tour was the best way to travel, not only did I get to play football overseas and experience the local cultures, I was able to make some great friendships along the way as well."
Michael Lindfield (NSW)

"The tour was sensational, action packed from start to finish. Football, friends, relaxing and partying - the perfect combination to enjoy all corners of the world. I recommend all to take the next tour available."
Daniel O'Reilly (VIC)

"The Convicts tour was the most unique travel experience I have encountered. Lining up for the first game in the green and gold and singing the national anthem sent chills down my spine! It is something that will remain in my best sporting memories forever!"
Anthony Nanfra (VIC)

"What an experience. To get the opportunity to travel the globe and represent Australia in Aussie Rules was just amazing. To coach a group of people who basically met at the airport was both interesting and fun. I would recommend to anyone who has the chance to be a part of a Convict tour, to go for it. One of the best Football trips that I have been on. I had an absolute ball."
Coach Sean Millane (VIC)

"The inaugural 2003 Convict World Tour to Europe and the UK was quite simply an awesome experience. Awesome footy, awesome travel and most importantly awesome mates. There is nothing better than spending three weeks touring around some of the most famous parts of the world playing Aussie Rules Footy with 20 of your best mates. The fun times shared and experiences had will stay with me for ever. I can't wait for the 2004 tour."
Anthony Dhillon (VIC)

"Fantastic experience and the Tour Leader was a great bloke."
Brian Clarke (NT)

"This was the the most unique tour I have ever been on! To play footy in South Africa and see the country was a memorable experience. I made many great friends and look forward to touring again!"
Hugh Stern (VIC)

"The guys were amazingly unique, and everything you ever heard about a footy trip is true! But the wildlife wasn't all human ! In South Africa we saw the most amazing scenery and animals. We met and played with beautiful people and the football clinics would have to be the most satisfying and joyful time many of us have ever experienced. All of us on the trip had trouble 'settling down' when we got home. For me the trip is not over yet and it may never be - I ended up having the vice-captain of the AFL South Africa Buffaloes come to stay with me for several months and during that time I got to spend a week in Melbourne with the Buffaloes International Cup squad. What a joyful, jubilant group of people who are the most enthusiastic footy lovers and plans are already being made for me to host another player next season! International Footy via the Convicts - IT'S LIFE CHANGING!!"
