Apart from the matches you'll also have plenty of time to re-hydrate and experience all the delights that Melbourne has to offer. Be there!

2008 INTERNATIONAL CUP TOUR

Day 1 Wednesday 27 August - Melbourne
Your International Cup experience starts today! The unofficial World Cup of Australian football includes teams from the USA, Canada, Denmark, Great Britain, Ireland, Sweden, South Africa, Nauru, PNG, New Zealand, Samoa and Tonga.
Today we will attend Round 1 at Royal Park North to witness all the colour and excitement of global footy!
And the fun doesn't stop with the final siren. Tonight our huge fifth quarter Convicts welcome party is the hottest ticket in town!

Day 2 Thursday 28 August - Melbourne
As you will quickly discover, our after match functions are huge nights! As a result today is a free day to recover from the night before. For those interested in seeing the sights, a good place to start is the new Eureka Tower, Melbourne's tallest building at 253.5 metres. It's observation platform offers spectacular city views. Just some of the many options include Federation Square, Royal Botanic Gardens, Melbourne Museum and Queen Victoria Market.

Day 3 Friday 29 August - Melbourne
Today we will head back to Royal Park North for Round 2 of the International Cup. It's going to be another great day of international footy action!
Tonight the fun continues with our Convicts Magical Mystery Tour of Melbourne's awesome nightlife!

Day 4 Saturday 30 August - Melbourne
Round 2 continues today, with two matches listed as potential curtain-raisers to AFL matches! (TBC)
It's Melbourne and we are here for the footy, so tonight we will attend the Carlton v Hawthorn match at Telstra Dome. It's the only time the Hawks and the Blues meet this season so it promises to be a cracker!

Day 5 Sunday 31 August - Melbourne
Today is a rest day for the International Cup. No tour of Melbourne would be complete without attending a match at the mecca of footy - the MCG! Today's match will no doubt see Richmond and Melbourne playing their final games of the season and the Convicts will be there in our very own dedicated section.

Day 6 Monday 1 September - Melbourne to Warrnambool
This morning we will depart Melbourne and journey via train to Warrnambool, 263km south-west of Melbourne.
Warrnambool offers spectacular stretches of coastline with fantastic beaches and sparkling water, visiting whales, notorious shipwrecks, unique volcanoes, great food and a thriving city centre.

Upon arrival we will check into our accommodation and then head down to Albert Park for Round 3 of the International Cup.
Tonight is a huge night as the Convicts Bool Pub Crawl comes to life!

Day 7 Tuesday 2 September - Warrnambool
Today is a rest day for both the competing teams and the Convicts! One of the highlights of the trip will be our Great Ocean Road tour. We will visit some of the world's most spectacular scenery, including
the 12 Apostles, Loch Ard, Razorback Lookout, Port Campbell and London Bridge (which actually has fallen down).

Day 8 Wednesday 3 September - Warrnambool
A crucial day as the Semi-Finals of the International Cup sees the teams fighting desperately to secure a spot in the Grand Final. A sensational day of international footy!
Tonight we will bid farewell to Warrnambool with a few quiet ones or twos.

Day 9 Thursday 4 September - Warrnambool to Melbourne
In the morning we will head back to Melbourne. Today is a rest day so upon arrival you are free to do your own thing. This is a good time to do some more sightseeing or just kick back and relax before the big day tomorrow.

Day 10 Friday 5 September - Melbourne
Our last but biggest day of the tour - the Grand Final of the International Cup! Although yet to be confirmed by the AFL, it is expected that the Final will be played in front of a huge crowd as a curtain-raiser to an AFL Finals match. Papua New Guinea have lost the past two finals, will it finally be their year? Or will a dark horse such as the USA or Canada emerge from the pack?
Whatever happens it is going to be HUGE!
Tonight is our last night in Melbourne and we are going to celebrate accordingly. A BIG night.
